After what felt like an eternity, Victoria regained consciousness in the bone–chilling cold. She struggled to open her eyes. Everything was blurry before
The burlap sack was suffocatingly hot and reeked of blood. The metallic smell nearly choked her. Gritting her teeth, she used every ounce of strength to break free from the sack’s binding and finally crawled out.
The warehouse was empty except for her. Jason was gone, and Sophia was nowhere to be seen. Only she had been left behind.
Victoria coughed, tasting rust in her throat. With trembling hands, she reached for her pocket, wanting to call her parents to come get her.

Jason was insane, and Sophia was no better. She couldn’t imagine how her sister had survived these years. But just as she pulled out her phone, a figure lunged from the shadows and slapped her hard across the face.
The phone flew from her hand and shattered against the wall. Victoria’s head snapped to the side, blood trickling from her lip.
She slowly looked up to see Sophia standing before her with a triumphant sneer.
“Who were you planning to call to play the victim Promo
Sophia looked down at her mockingly.
Victoria said nothing. She just slowly pushed herself up against the wall, breathing heavily.
Seeing her silence, Sophia became even more arrogant. She walked over a

Victoria stared at her, then suddenly smiled.
Sophia froze. Before she could react, Victoria used Sophia’s grip on her chin as leverage and shoved her hard.
“Ugh!”
Sophia stumbled backward, crashing into the metal shelving behind her. The sharp corner slammed into her lower back, and she instantly doubled over in pain, her face going deathly pale.
“H–How dare you push me?” She stared at Victoria in disbelief, her voice shaking.
Victoria braced herself against the wall and slowly stood up. Her body was covered with blood, and her face was as white as a sheet.
“Push you?” She laughed softly, dragging her injured leg as she slowly walked toward Sophia. “So what if I did?
Sophia panicked, scrambling backward on her hands and feet. “Don’t… don’t come any closer!”
Victoria ignored her. She bent down to pick up a piece of steel pipe from the floor, weighing it in her hand.
Sophia’s eyes widened in fear. The Victoria in front of her seemed completely different from the one who had endured her bullying before.
“Help! Help me!” She screamed, trying to crawl away, but Victoria grabbed her ankle and dragged her back.
“Weren’t you acting so tough earlier?” Victoria looked down at her, gently tapping the steel pipe against Sophia’s cheek. “Scared now?”
Sophia trembled, tears and snot covering her face, but still tried to sound defiant. “If you dare touch me, Jason will never forgive you!”
Victoria sneered and raised the pipe, bringing it down hard on Sophia’s leg.
“Ah!”
Sophia’s scream echoed through the warehouse. Victoria gave it no mind, continuing to strike her again and again with ruthless efficiency. During her years abroad, she’d stopped being someone others could walk all over.

Sophia was beaten nearly unconscious, too weak even to beg for mercy. She was only able to curl up on the ground.
Victoria was breathing hard, wiping blood from her face, preparing for the final blow,
Suddenly, the warehouse door was kicked open. Harsh light flooded in as Jason stood in the doorway, staring at them with a grim expression.
