“If not for the Ashfords polishing her up over the past few years, who knows how much worse she
would’ve turned out!”
Noelle held her breath and locked her gaze onto Yasmine. She had never met anyone so unreasonable
and shameless.
Mary’s face flushed and darkened. She knew Yasmine was a fiery woman, but it was supposed to be a day of celebration, yet Yasmine was still so intent on publicly humiliating them.
Just as she was about to continue trying to reason with Yasmine, Noelle stepped forward and stood beside her. She gave Mary a small smile and said, “Mom, take care of the guests. Even though this is the last round of the welcome party, we still need to look after our guests properly, don’t we?”
With a sigh, Mary turned away.
Once she was gone, Noelle didn’t mince her words. “Fine, if you won’t apologize to my mom, I won’t force you. But I’m calling the cops.”
Whether Yasmine could handle the police or not was her problem. Regardless, Noelle would do what she
had to.
But Yasmine wasn’t afraid of involving the police. After all, no matter where this escalated, she was determined to accomplish her goal of coming here.
When she saw Noelle pull out her phone to make a call, she dramatically raised her voice. Then, as soon
as the call connected, she put on a performance.
“You heartless girl! You’re so cruel!”
Noelle lowered her voice and said, “Hello, I have someone here causing trouble at my home. Could you
please come handle this?”
In the span of that one phone call, Yasmine had already broken down in tears. “You lived at the Ashford residence for three years without getting pregnant once! You refused to see a doctor, and we even
tolerated it…
“But how much more must we endure? Even after Conner died, you remarried without a care! And Sabrina

The guests all turned to look at her with surprised and curious expressions.
Yasmine had successfully attracted everyone’s attention while announcing that Noelle couldn’t bear children. Although tears streamed down her face, her gaze was triumphant no matter how anyone
perceived it.
“Sabrina’s pregnancy didn’t come easily. She’s carrying the Ashford family’s only heir. How could you be so cruel? If it weren’t for Dr. Brown saving her, our bloodline would’ve ended because of you!”
Noelle trembled with rage. She finally understood why Yasmine had left the hospital to crash her party.
This was pure revenge. She wanted to humiliate her in front of everyone and ensure the gossip reached
Sebastian.
Mary was so angry too that she nearly fainted.
Fortunately, the guests nearby caught her and kindly asked, “Mrs. Spencer, are you alright?”
But Mary couldn’t speak. She could only glare at Yasmine.
She and Noelle had once lived under the same roof. How could she be so ruthless and ungrateful?
There was an old saying about showing respect for the sake of shared ties, but Yasmine clearly had no respect for anyone. She was dead set on making sure Noelle’s future with her new family would be
miserable.
By then, Mary’s breathing had turned shallow, and she was just a breath away from passing out.
Noelle’s lips turned pale as she stared at Yasmine, who sat smugly in her chair. She gritted her teeth and hissed, “How could the Ashfords‘ bloodline end? Your son’s clearly fertile. If I couldn’t give him a child,
and Sabrina can’t either, what’s stopping him from knocking up someone else?
