Before they’d only recorded audio, but after getting huge scoops two times in a row, this time they’d added hidden pinhole cameras.
On the other side, Amelia and Vivian had reached the staff corridor.
“So what’s this about?” Amelia cut straight to the point.
Vivian first looked around, seeming to make sure no one else was watching before she spoke: “Have you decided whether you want to work with me or not?”
Amelia didn’t immediately catch on.
“What partnership?”
“You didn’t even think about it?” Vivian was so mad she almost laughed, but remembering her goal, she suppressed her anger. “Let me remind you again–there’s an Amelia standing between you and Louie.”
“If you want to successfully move up, you have to bring Amelia down. Otherwise you’ll never become Louie’s official girlfriend.”
Now Amelia remembered.
“I’m not interested in that,” she said.
With that, Amelia started to leave.
But Vivian blocked her path.
“If you’re not interested in that, what about today’s competition stage?” Vivian’s face showed a confident
smile.
Amelia didn’t speak, just looked at Vivian, waiting for her to continue.
“You know your livestream audio and video quality aren’t on the same level as everyone else’s. The other contestants aren’t pushovers either, so your off–site voting won’t be high. And off–site voting counts for a huge portion of the total score, so you’re at a disadvantage.”
“Plus, today’s live audience includes some of my people and I can score you too.”

Vivian stepped forward, staring hard at the masked woman in front of her: “So Elena, do you see clearly now? Whether you stay or go today is completely in my hands.”
Looking at Vivian, Amelia suddenly found it ridiculous.
Didn’t Vivian want to spend her last six months living well with Nathan?
She didn’t even want Nathan anymore–she’d basically handed him over to Vivian. What was she trying
to pull?
Amelia was genuinely confused.
Though she disliked Vivian, she’d never specifically targeted her, because the woman was dying and she didn’t want to bully a patient with only days left to live
All of this was Vivian forcing her hand.
With that thought, Amelia said, “Whatever you want to do is your business. I’m not interested.”
Amelia wasn’t a pushover either. Before, it just hadn’t been the right time. Now that she had every advantage, she wouldn’t hold back.
With that, Amelia tried to walk around Vivian and leave.
“Are you really sure about this?” Vivian hadn’t expected that even after saying all that, she’d still refuse. “If you don’t agree to cooperate, you’ll be eliminated this round.”
“That way, you’ll be useless to Louie, and you’ll never be able to compete with Amelia.”
Amelia laughed. “Is this a threat? Some other form of capital manipulation?”
“If saying that makes you feel better, then sure, it can be,” Vivian replied.
It either was or it wasn’t–what was this “can be” nonsense?
Talk about fake to the extreme.
Amelia didn’t want to deal with her anymore and walked around her to leave.
“Elena!” Vivian called out from where she stood.
But Amelia didn’t pause at all, walking straight out of there.

Vivian just watched the masked woman leave, grinding her teeth in fury.
She hated this woman.
Even though she had dirt on her, every time the woman acted like she didn’t care.
If she didn’t currently need someone to do certain things for her, she’d definitely make Elena pay!
“You’ll come crawling back to me,” Vivian whispered to herself. “When you actually get eliminated.”
She still had one revival spot for eliminated contestants–she was waiting for Elena to beg her!
With that thought, Vivian relaxed, smiled, and walked out of the staff corridor.
After both had left, in the little dark room:
“Boss was brilliant, there really was huge drama.”
“Last time when you told us to keep an eye on Nathan’s actual wife Amelia, we accidentally filmed that huge scoop of the kid calling her mommy, and made a killing!”
“If we use this to blackmail Vivian, we can definitely score big!”
“Yeah, yeah, this completely goes against her public image. If she doesn’t pay up, her whole persona will
collapse!”
While everyone had their own schemes brewing, the third live show began.
The three judges took their seats one by one.
The host came on stage, introduced each judge, and the judges gave brief remarks.
Soon it was Vivian’s turn.
It could be said that Vivian deserved major credit for Voice of Heaven generating such massive viewership.
Backstage, Amelia stood quietly, watching Vivian on stage.
Amelia held her phone with a group chat showing the actions of various personnel for this live broadcast.
Everyone was fully prepared.

“So quickly, Voice of Heaven has reached its third live show,” Vivian smiled on stage, looking absolutely
radiant.
“Now, I want to say thank you to all the audience members who have consistently come to support and watch me.”
Vivian smiled and bowed, then the livestream camera ut directly to Nathan in the audience.
The crowd erupted in cheers.
Assistant Sunny beside her said, “Three shows, three appearances, hasn’t missed a single one. Looks like Mr. Harrison really cares about Vivian.”
Amelia just watched calmly, completely unmoved inside.
After the cheering died down, the camera didn’t go back to Vivian but panned to the Wessex brothers nearby.
“The Wessex brothers are here too!” Sunny exclaimed. “Isn’t Arthur supposed to be super mysterious? Why has he come to two shows!”
Amelia frowned slightly, remembering how excited Lester had been when asking for photos and autographs last time. “Their family has a great atmosphere. He’s probably here to keep his brother
company.”
Sunny nodded. “That makes sense.”
The camera panned again, showing live audience members holding up Vivian’s signs.
Amelia’s eyes narrowed–these must be the audience members Vivian mentioned who could control the live voting.
Actually, live audiences weren’t the most objective since many had their own preferred contestants, which was why online voting counted for more.
The scoring system itself wasn’t the problem.
It was just that Amelia had been suppressed by video quality issues before.
Fortunately, the first two rounds–one for debuts, one with fewer eliminations–had allowed Amelia to
survive.
But judging by this round’s setup, Vivian’s manipulation was highly likely.

However, this round would be different.
“Thank you,” Vivian said over there, dabbing at her eyes before sitting down.
The competition officially began.
Contestants performed one after another.
With 5 eliminations and only 1 revival this time, everyone was giving their all.
Finally, it was Amelia’s turn.
Amelia walked onto the stage step by step in a flowing deep–sea mermaid gown.
