Chapter 106
Amelia frowned. They were almost suspiciously effective.
“Who the hell could it be?” Louie wondered.
“Let’s dig into it,” Amelia said. “We need to know what we’re dealing with.”
Louie nodded.
Meanwhile, Vivian texted Owen: Can’t stop the bleeding. Hold off on the miscarriage stuff for now, save it
for backup.
Soon after, the fourth Voice of Heaven episode ranking dropped.
Elena was undisputed first place.
The rest followed in order.
The episode wrapped with tension still simmering underneath.
Everyone filed out.
Amelia was heading for the exit when she brushed past Vivian backstage, who tried to grab her wrist.
Amelia yanked her hand away hard.
If Vivian wasn’t a dying woman, if there weren’t tons of people watching, she would’ve slapped the bitch
already.
“Elena, don’t think you’ve won!” Vivian hissed under her breath.
Amelia smirked: “Maybe worry about your own problems first.”
Sunny rolled her eyes: “Yeah, our Elena’s got shit to do Move.”
Sunny’s attitude toward Vivian had done a complete 180.
She’d started as kind of a casual Vivian fan, but watching her dirty tactics these past weeks made her sick.
“You little-!” Vivian glared at Sunny.
Sunny wasn’t fazed. She put her arm around her artist and said firmly: “Everyone online’s trying to figure out who keeps screwing with our Elena. Ms. Hope, instead of coming over here talking trash, maybe focus on yourself.”

With that, she walked Amelia away.
Vivian was livid but forced herself to stay calm.
The internet was definitely buzzing.
Organic discussion from users.
Because-
“This is way too sketchy. Every single attack goes after lena. Who did she piss off? This time someone even spread those nasty sexual rumors. If people hadn’t been smart enough to see Elena’s talent speaks for itself, she might’ve really gotten screwed over.”
Once or twice, maybe coincidence. But from episode one to four now, it was getting more obvious.
People initially suspected Sebastian.
But Sebastian was done being Vivian’s fall guy.
He straight–up posted a video of himself getting patched up at the hospital, captioned: “Not my fucking
problem.”
Since he was pretty beaten up, he looked pathetically ridiculous.
His eyes were full of genuine hurt feelings.
Plus people leaked that he’d gotten tackled in the electrical room and ate shit.
Smart users figured he’d tried to cut the power but Louie stopped him.
So he’d made a move, but failed and got caught.
Some people still suspected him, but way less than before.
So by process of elimination, suspicion swung back to Vivian.
Besides Sebastian, she was the only one with that kind of juice, backed by Nathan.
Simple math.
Vivian was stressed and pissed.
Chapter 106
Everything had been locked down–she had so much dirt on Elena, but it all went sideways.
Vivian figured the reasons were:
One: Getting pulled away by those blackmailers made er miss the perfect timing to drop Elena’s scandals.
Two: Some mystery force suddenly jumped in and locked down the results, making her miss another shot. According to Owen’s intel, even Elena’s people had no clue who they were.
Vivian stared daggers at the masked woman walking away.
So this time, Elena got lucky!
But right now wasn’t the time to worry about that–she needed to clear her own name fast.
With that thought, Vivian’s eyes got teary as she headed toward Nathan.
Meanwhile, Amelia, Sunny, and Louie got to their trailer.
The three Wessex family members were waiting for them.
Lester bounded over first.
“That was fucking amazing! Elena, every single performance just destroys me! You’re seriously my hero!”
Charlotte nodded enthusiastically, then immediately grabbed her brother’s hair to make him stand properly and not freak people out.
Arthur hung back, watching.
Suddenly getting it.
Amelia hesitated slightly: “Just now online…”
She wasn’t totally sure, so she trailed off.
“Oh yeah, that was my brother’s call! I helped though! Lester jumped in immediately.
Amelia looked up at Arthur, surprised.
“Wessex Corp invested in the show. You’re the show’s biggest asset.” Short and sweet explanation.

Made sense now.
No other forces had helped before, but the day after Wessex Corp became a sponsor, boom–backup
arrives.
Pretty logical–they put money in, didn’t want to lose it.
Amelia bowed: “Thank you.”
Charlotte immediately straightened her up.
Lester also said frantically: “You’re already insanely talented! Those people were just talking shit. Can’t believe a music show got dragged into all that garbage!
After a beat, Lester snuck a look at Louie, then the masked woman, and whispered: “You and Louie…”
Amelia almost laughed. Kid couldn’t hide anything to save his life–total golden retriever energy.
“We’re friends and business partners. The online stuff is bullshit,” Amelia said.
Louie nodded: “Right, just friends. There’s some stuff we can’t get into right now.”
While Louie had feelings for Amelia, she clearly wasn’t feeling it, and he didn’t want to mess up her
reputation.
“Cool, haha… ow, Charlotte!” Lester was grinning like an idiot when his sister smacked him.
“Ignore him, he’s brain–dead,” Charlotte apologized to the masked woman.
Amelia didn’t think much of it–kids were naturally curious. She said again: “Thank you.”
To the siblings, and with a nod to Arthur in the background.
He gave a brief “Yeah.”
After a few more words, the Wessex trio left.
Perfect amount of small talk.
Amelia turned to get in the trailer.
Then a big hand slammed against the trailer door.

Amelia looked up to see Nathan’s clenched jaw and dark eyes.
Those eyes were boring into her right now.
Like he was trying to see right through her mask.
