Chapter 28
Sebastian glanced at Eric and pointed to a few inconspicuous pieces of jewelry. “I don’t want these two pieces, but everything else can be sent to this address.”
His eyes then flashed with displeasure as he looked at Jessica. “What are you standing around for? Get
me a notepad.”
Jessica’s mind went completely blank, but her body reacted instinctively as she handed Sebastian the
notepad.
Sebastian picked up a pen from the counter and elegantly wrote down an address–all in less than five
seconds.
Eric’s eyes went wide as he stared at the note in disbelief. “Sir, h–how will you be paying?”
Sebastian pulled out a card with a faint golden sheen. “With my credit card.”
Eric couldn’t believe it. What this man had just purchased already met their store’s entire monthly sales
target.
But the most bewildered person there was Jessica. She couldn’t believe how the tables had completely turned. Just a moment ago, they supposedly couldn’t afford anything. Yet now, they were buying out the
place.
Noelle watched the series of events unfold, confused. After all, everything in the store was women’s
jewelry and accessories. Why was Sebastian buying so much of it?
It wasn’t until Noelle saw what was written on the notepad that realization struck her.
It was an address she knew all too well–the Spencer residence.
She looked at Sebastian in confusion and surprise. “Mr. Cole, did you write down the wrong address?”
Sebastian paused for a moment before asking, “Did your family move? I’m sorry, I didn’t know. I’ll have the
manager change it. Just write down the new address.”
Noelle frantically waved her hands. “N–No, we didn’t move. It’s just… are all these things for me?”
Sebastian’s brow relaxed. “What? Do you think they’d suit me instead?”
The dazzling array of women’s jewelry certainly didn’t match Sebastian’s style at all. But that wasn’t the point–the point was that Noelle refused to accept gifts without earning them, especially when the gifts were such expensive jewelry.
Both Mary and Noelle started to feel anxious.
Mary said to Eric, “Don’t deliver to that address…”

Meanwhile, Hoelle dealt with Sebastian directly. She said, “Mr. Cole, I can’t accept these things.
Sebastian frowned while signaling at Eric to continue processing the card payment. Then, he looked at Hoelle and insisted, “There will be no such thing After all, our wedding’s approaching, so consider these
as wedding gifts”
Noelle awkwardly opened her mouth but couldn’t think of a reason to refuse Sebastian.
After the jewelry store finished processing everything, Sebastian lifted his wrist to check his watch.
Noelle’s gaze inadvertently swept over his wrist bone. Just like last time, there was something indescribably magnetic about it.
Then, Sebastian said, “I still have business to handle today…”
Noelle caught on immediately. “That’s fine, Mr. Cole. If you have work to do, please go ahead. Don’t worry.
Sebastian’s eyes darkened for a moment. Coming from Noelle, “Mr. Cole” sounded far too distant.
Nevertheless, after a brief pause, he said goodbye to Mary and left.
After that, Eric quickly pulled Jessica aside to apologize to Noelle and Mary.
However, Noelle waved it off. “We don’t need that kind of apology.” After all, people like Jessica bowed to money and not because they’d done something wrong.
Eric forced a flattering smile and offered Noelle his business card. “Mrs. Cole, if you ever need anything, just contact me directly. As for this unprofessional sales associate… Well, you won’t have to see her
again”
But Noelle politely refused the card. “No, thank you. I’m not particularly fond of this store anyway.”
After they left, Eric furiously turned to Jessica. “Go back and do two more months of training! You’re a blind fool for not recognizing them!
“That was Mr. Cole you just offended, and you upset the future Mrs. Cole too! Of all the people to mess with, you had to pick someone that powerful!”
