Forever 15

Chapter 15

In the bridal boutique, Jasmine stood before the mirror, slightly dazed as she looked at herself in a white

gown.

“It’s stunning!” Natalie complimented tearfully. “My girl is actually getting married.”

Maureen nodded with a warm smile. “Sebastian is a lucky man to be marrying someone as outstanding as your daughter.”

Sebastian sat quietly on the couch, his gaze fixed on Jasmine.

He didn’t look away for a long time.

“What do you think, Mr. Campbell?” the designer asked with a cheerful smile.

He rose and walked over to Jasmine. “It’s absolutely beautiful.”

Those words were enough to make Jasmine’s ears flush red. She lowered her eyes and murmured, ” Thank you.”

After the fitting, Sebastian took Jasmine to lunch. The restaurant was the most exclusive spot in Jenvil, perched at the top of a skyscraper with panoramic views of the city below.

“I’ve sent people to handle matters in Horinton,” he said calmly while cutting into his steak. “Your company will be returned to you exactly as it was.”

She snapped her head up in surprise. “So soon?”

“The Campbells have roots in both Jenvil and Horinton.” He fixed his gaze on her, sincerity brewing in his eyes, and said, “Besides, they’re after my fiancee. That makes it personal.”

A quiet warmth bloomed across her chest. “Thank you, but… I’d really like to handle it myself.”

He raised a brow. “Suit yourself. Just say the word when you need me.”

After lunch, Sebastian drove her home and then returned to the office. Jasmine had just stepped inside when the housekeeper hurried over. “Ms. Lane, Mr. Smith has been waiting for you all morning.”

She frowned. “Tell him to leave.”

The housekeeper hesitated, then leaned in to whisper, “But he said… It’s something important about your

company.”

Jasmine paused mid-step, then turned and walked toward the sitting room.

Timothy stood by the window, and the moment he heard her footsteps, he turned around. Although he

was dressed in a sharp suit, the fatigue on his face was impossible to hide.

“Jas,” he called out, stepping forward quickly, “I finally got to see you.”

She took two steps back, her expression cool, keeping distance between them. “Spill it,”

He let out a bitter laugh. “You’ve always been direct. I should’ve known.”

Then, he pulled out a document from his briefcase and handed it to her. “This is the equity transfer to Ascend Entertainment. I’m giving you all my shares.”

Jasmine was taken aback. “What does this mean?”

“Just returning what was yours,” he explained quietly. “Ascend was your creation from the start. I was only managing it in your place…”

She didn’t grab the document. “What’s the catch?”

A flicker of pain crossed Timothy’s eyes. “There’s none. Jas, I owe you a lot, and this is only part of it.”

She smiled coldly. “I’m glad you know. But keep those shares. I’ll be taking back all of Ascend soon,

anyway.”

His expression darkened. “Jas, what are you planning?”

“That’s none of your business.”

She turned to leave, but he suddenly grabbed her arm. “Sebastian isn’t who you think he is, Jas! He’s using

you!”
