Amelia and Louie walked toward backstage together.
As they passed through the staff corridor, they saw Vivian standing off to the side.
Vivian looked absolutely sinister–her usually perfect composure had completely cracked.
“No wonder you never reacted to my offers,” Vivian sail, staring at the masked woman. “You were already prepared all along.”
Amelia smiled softly. “Even without preparation, I wouldn’t have been interested in your proposal.”
Louie shot Vivian a weird look.
He was about to lose it laughing.
He suddenly realized that having Amelia perform in a mask was pure genius.
Vivian had actually tried to use Amelia against Amelia.
But he couldn’t laugh–he still had to pretend to be Elena’s sugar daddy. Hold it together, hold it together.
But damn, his temper was so hard to control!
So he coughed and pretended not to know anything, frowning as he said, “What are you talking about? Let’s go.”
Amelia glanced at him, nodded, and followed Louie away.
They left quickly, but Vivian was so furious she was stamping her feet.
She didn’t have time to deal with those two anymore though, because Owen had sent her breaking news.
Cavendish Entertainment’s official account had posted something.
That’s right–now the real battle was about to begin.
The stage performance was just establishing facts. The real war would be fought in public opinion.
Amelia, Louie, and Sunny returned to the contestant’s private dressing room together.

They’d been prepared for this. Hidden behind a screen they were constantly typing and communicating with others in their group chat.
At that moment, online.
Cavendish Entertainment released two high–definition videos of ‘Yesterday Once More‘ and ‘Us‘ live performances.
The caption read: Due to previous technical malfunctions that affected our artist Elena’s live broadcast, we have now coordinated with all parties. The special edition of Voice of Heaven will include updated
footage of the relevant segments.
This was crystal–clear video from Cavendish Entertainment’s official account–completely incomparable
to the previous secretly recorded phone footage.
The stage effects were even more stunning.
This was the optimal sequence Amelia and the others had strategized.
Official HD video was fine to have, but the secretly recorded phone footage was absolutely essential.
Because Vivian’s team would definitely try to spin this as capital manipulation, so releasing official HD
video directly wouldn’t be convincing–it would all be seen as coming from the investors anyway.
Now the phone videos appeared first. After letting them simmer a bit, they’d release the official HD footage to make up for the phone videos‘ shortcomings, directly proving the previous suppression.
After seeing the videos on Karen’s phone, Amelia had planned to coordinate their release with her
performance today. This way, they’d complement each other and boost the phone videos‘ credibility.
But Louie simultaneously taking down Sebastian made everything fall into place even more perfectly.
Online, public opinion exploded.
Cavendish Entertainment’s statement was very diplomatic–one “technical malfunction” covered everything.
But why didn’t any other contestants have malfunctions, only Elena’s stage?
“Really hard to guess why only Elena had stage malfunctions.”
“Yeah, I was suspicious before. After all, Elena’s a Cavendish Entertainment artist–they wouldn’t sabotage anyone, especially not her. But now it really looks like that’s what happened.”

“Right, forget the official Cavendish video–just look at those two phone recordings. From such crappy positions with such bad equipment, she was still that solid. You can tell the livestream really had ‘technical difficulties.“”
“So today’s broadcast was normal. There were still one or two seconds of ‘malfunction‘ at the beginning
before it got fixed.”
“Yeah, they almost buried such an amazing singer!”
“I was in the live audience. I kept getting silenced–every time I tried to say something, it got deleted.”
“Me too, me too! Every time I came out and saw Elena’s segments online, I was like WTF, how could there be such a huge difference? But nobody ever replied to me. Later I realized only I could see my own
comments.”
Tons of live audience members spoke up, releasing all their pent–up frustration in this moment.
Then everyone had the same question:
“So who did it?”
Online discussions exploded.
First they suspected all the other contestants from the same season, but Elena had clearly been suppressed from the very first live show. They heard that Elena hadn’t even gone to rehearsal because of an injury, so others couldn’t have seen her stage. Plus lena was a Cavendish Entertainment artist–other companies had no reason to target her.
Then everyone thought back and suddenly realized-
‘Yesterday Once More‘ had been absolutely incredible, basically crushing everyone to take first place, until it tied with Vivian’s Slight Love for the white moonlight vs. red mole comparison.
So online, other voices emerged:
“Could it have been Vivian?”
“Now that you mention it, that totally adds up.”

“Who could overpower Cavendish Entertainment? The heaviest hitter there was Vivian. She’s got Nathan backing her.”
“Yeah, Slight Love almost couldn’t suppress ‘Yesterday Once More‘ back then.”
“Right, right, it was only because ‘Yesterday Once More had technical issues that they tied. I remember people saying Vivian wasn’t a professional singer, so she was even more impressive.”
“I’ve got some inside info that before the first live show Vivian’s people went to ‘give some pointers‘ to the
other contestants.”
“Really? That actually happened?”
“Don’t know, it’s just gossip, but look at the second live show and this one–all the contestants‘ stage
quality shot way up!”
“True, true.”
Online opinion was all over the place, suddenly pointing fingers directly at Vivian.
Vivian’s side was already in complete chaos.
She kept communicating with Owen, trying to come up with an appropriate response.
So during the livestream, she was absent for a really long time.
Seeing her absence just made everyone talk even more!
But she had no choice–she couldn’t exactly communicate with Owen on live television.
Vivian gritted her teeth and glared hatefully toward Elena’s dressing room.
Now’s not the time to settle scores with her. Deal with the current situation first, then take care of her later! Vivian thought.
With that thought, she called Sebastian again.
On the other side, in Amelia’s dressing room.
Amelia and Louie watched Se7ven and Harper coordinate with the marketing team to gain the upper hand, and both nodded with satisfaction.

Only now could they finally relax a little.
The two leaned back on the couch.
“I mean, what’s the point?” Louie said. “Didn’t she already get what she wanted?”
This was Amelia’s question too.
“Don’t get her,” Amelia said, then thought of something “By the way, do you have people over there?”
“Where?” Louie asked.
Amelia typed “UK” on her hidden phone.
Louie shook his head. “No, but I can reach out to friends I know. Why?“
Amelia typed “UK” on her hidden phone.
Louie shook his head. “No, but I can reach out to friends I know. Why?”
Amelia shook her head and said it was nothing. “Go ahead and make contact. I just have some questions.”
